Restaurant Front of House Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Restaurant Front of House Manager to lead our team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. The Front of House Manager will oversee the bar and dining operations. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of customer service, food safety, and restaurant management.

Duties

• Supervise front of house operations, including greeting guests, seating arrangements, and ensuring timely service delivery
• Lead staff training and development to promote excellent customer service, food handling, and safety standards
• Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Oversee POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Control inventory levels behind the bar and overall front of house
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
• Conduct staff interviews, assist with hiring decisions, and support onboarding processes for new team members

Qualifications

• Proven experience in service and food restaurant management
• Bartender and bar management experience
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team leadership and staff training capabilities
• Familiarity with POS systems; proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills
• Experience managing restaurant operations such as shift management, inventory control, budgeting, and cost reduction
• Knowledge of hospitality management principles including food industry standards and customer service excellence
• Strong communication skills for managerial communication, team training, and guest engagement
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
