Restaurant General Manager

Description:

The Store Director has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of the restaurant, including the selection, development, and performance management of employees. In addition, the Store Director is responsible for customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, financial accountability, and ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer.

Responsibilities:

· Knowledge of overall restaurant practices including bar, dining room, grill, and kitchen

· Communicate clearly and effectively with employees and customers while demonstrating effective leadership skills and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction

· Manage and supervise customer relations activities, respond to every customer service need in a positive and accommodating manner

· Assign, delegate and supervise work responsibilities following policies and procedures to the Store Manager

· Coach the Store and Bar Manager on the development of employees and their ability to deliver the Mesero experience to guests

· Coach and direct the employees to ensure shift execution

· Evaluate employee’s performance and provide performance feedback to employees

· Manage and supervise employee relations activities, including interviewing, hiring, terminating, training, motivating, disciplining, promoting, scheduling, and other functions related to Human Resources

· Control daily labor schedule and maintain appropriate staffing levels

· Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety standards

· Manage and supervise employee benefits, safety, and accident prevention programs

· Flexible to work according to business demands, open and close store as needed

· Manage and supervise administrative responsibilities including financial reports, inventory control and product ordering, payroll changes, bank deposits, and office procedures

· Knowledge of business strategies to achieve sales profit goals and meet budgetary guidelines in sales and profit

· Maintain effective communication with the Home Office to implement and maintain all standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

· Minimum four years of high-volume full-service restaurant management experience desired

· Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, Company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports

· High school graduate or equivalent; some college desirable

. Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English

· Exercises good judgment in decision making, ability to be flexible and adapt in any situation

· Must be able to work well under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
