Restaurant General Manager

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall operations, financial performance, sales growth, and customer satisfaction of Seafood 8. The role provides hands-on leadership in managing daily operations, coaching and developing the team, maintaining service standards, and driving profitability.

Specific duties

• Meet monthly and annual sales targets.
• Achieve profit and margin targets through proper cost control.
• Monitor food, labor, and operating expenses and keep them within budget.
• Maintain good customer service and satisfaction.
• Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Build, train, and manage a productive restaurant team.
• Implement sales and marketing activities to increase customer traffic and revenue.
• Identify operational and sales issues and take corrective actions to improve restaurant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, or related field.
• At least 5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong background in restaurant operations, sales, and cost control.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• Customer-focused with good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
