Restaurant Guest Relations Officer

The Guest Relations Officer is responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming experience for guests. The role involves greeting guests, managing reservations, handling guest enquiries and feedback, coordinating with the restaurant team, and ensuring smooth service throughout the guest’s visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Manage guest reservations, seating arrangements, and waiting lists.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus when required.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, complaints, and feedback professionally.
• Coordinate with the service, kitchen, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain good relationships with regular and VIP guests.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve service issues promptly.
• Assist with special occasions, celebrations, and guest requests.
• Maintain accurate reservation and guest information.
• Follow restaurant service standards, policies, and procedures.
• Support the Front of House team during busy periods.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, customer service, or guest relations is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, confident, and professional personality.
• Ability to handle difficult or unhappy guests calmly.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of reservation systems is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
