About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Head to lead our restaurant operations in Badung, Bali. This is a contract position that offers an exciting opportunity to manage and elevate our dining experience. As Restaurant Head, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, maintaining service excellence, and ensuring guests receive a world-class dining experience that reflects our brand values. This role is pivotal to our hospitality offering and requires a dynamic leader who can inspire teams, drive performance, and contribute strategically to our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day restaurant operations, including service scheduling, table management, and customer flow
• Leading, training, and motivating the restaurant staff to ensure exceptional service standards
• Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies that enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintaining food and beverage quality standards and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Managing restaurant budgets, controlling costs, and optimising profitability
• Coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service delivery
• Handling guest concerns and complaints professionally to maintain reputation and loyalty
• Conducting regular staff training and performance evaluations
• Maintaining cleanliness and maintenance standards throughout the restaurant
• Creating an engaging dining atmosphere and implementing marketing initiatives to drive customer retention

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of restaurant management or hospitality operations experience in a similar or upscale setting
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing large teams
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, culinary operations, and menu management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff
• Proficiency in restaurant management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology
• Demonstrated financial management skills with experience in budgeting and cost control
• Customer service excellence and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences
• Flexibility and adaptability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Indonesian or other local languages is advantageous
