Restaurant Host

About the role

As our Restaurant Host, you will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all who dine with us. This is a pro rated 4 day per week part-time position and will involve working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting and seating guests with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Managing reservations and waitlist, ensuring efficient seating of guests
• Communicating with the kitchen and service team to ensure a smooth dining experience
• Responding to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns promptly
• Maintaining a clean and organised host station
• Assisting with other front-of-house duties as required

About you

• Previous experience in a similar customer service or hospitality role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Knowledge of local dining options and attractions is desirable
