Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

• Greet guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage the flow of guests into the restaurant, coordinating seating arrangements to optimize service efficiency.
• Utilize Aloha POS system to manage reservations and waitlists effectively.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of guest relations.
• Support other team members during busy periods by helping with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A friendly demeanor with an eagerness to help guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
