Restaurant Host

492 BBQ is looking for a friendly, reliable, and outgoing Host to join our team! The Host is responsible for greeting guests, managing the seating flow, answering phones, assisting with takeout orders, and helping create a welcoming experience from the moment guests arrive.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage the waitlist and seating rotation
• Answer phones and assist guests with questions
• Assist with takeout and pickup orders
• Prepare and plate desserts
• Keep the host area and entrance clean and organized
• Maintain clean and well-stocked restrooms throughout the shift
• Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management
• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive team environment

Ideal Candidate: Someone who is dependable, personable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys interacting with guests. Restaurant experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Hourly pay, plus tips and weekly tipout from servers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
