Restaurant Hostess

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and well-presented Restaurant Hostess to join our team Iraq, Karbala. The successful candidate will welcome guests, manage reservations and seating arrangements, and help ensure an excellent dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally.
• Manage reservations, walk-in guests, and waiting lists.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Organize seating arrangements according to table availability.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to reservation inquiries.
• Inform guests about waiting times, restaurant services, and special offers.
• Coordinate with servers, supervisors, and kitchen staff.
• Monitor table availability and maintain a smooth flow of guests.
• Handle guest requests and complaints politely and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area.
• Assist with special events and group reservations.
• Thank guests when they leave and invite them to return.
• Follow restaurant policies, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Previous experience as a hostess or in customer service is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Friendly, confident, and guest-focused personality.

Good organizational and multitasking skills.

Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
