A Restaurant Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for guests. She greets customers upon arrival, manages seating arrangements, handles reservations, and ensures guests receive attentive and friendly service throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage reservations, bookings, and guest seating arrangements.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Answer guests’ questions about the restaurant, menu, and services.
• Manage waiting lists and provide accurate estimated waiting times.
• Coordinate with servers and restaurant staff to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and basic complaints professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Monitor table availability and assist with efficient table turnover.
• Answer phone calls and respond to reservation inquiries.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
• Follow restaurant policies, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, confident, and professional personality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Well-groomed and presentable.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
