Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Hostess to join our team at our Chinese hotpot restaurant in Downtown Dubai. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming first impression, greet guests warmly, manage reservations and seating arrangements, and ensure a smooth and pleasant dining experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage reservations, walk-in guests, waiting lists, and table allocations efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus when required.
• Coordinate with restaurant managers, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle guest inquiries, reservation requests, and basic customer complaints professionally.
• Maintain an organized reception area and ensure the restaurant entrance is clean and presentable.
• Monitor table availability and waiting times during busy periods.
• Assist with special guest requests and provide information about the menu and dining experience.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and follow restaurant service standards.
• Support the restaurant team in delivering a high-quality guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or in a customer-facing hospitality role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant personality, professional appearance, and a positive attitude.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm during busy periods.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Chinese or additional languages is an advantage.
• Experience in fine dining, Asian cuisine, or Chinese hotpot restaurants will be an added advantage.

Pay: AED1.00 - AED12.00 per month
