Key responsibilities
Greet guests warmly as they enter
Manage reservations and the waitlist
Answer phone calls and guest questions
Manage table seating to balance the restaurant's sections
Provide menus and explain basic restaurant information
Communicate with servers, managers, and kitchen staff
Keep the entrance and host stand clean and organized
Monitor guest needs and help resolve minor concerns
