Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times
• Handle restaurant reservation management using industry-standard systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate booking and seating schedules
• Maintain clear and professional phone communication, providing information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant policies with excellent phone etiquette
• Coordinate with the dining team to ensure tables are prepared and cleaned promptly for incoming guests
• Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, and feedback in a positive and professional manner
• Support food safety standards by following proper procedures when handling guest information and managing seating flow
• Utilize organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously during busy service hours

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred; strong customer service skills are essential
• Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Basic math proficiency to handle reservations, seating counts, and guest inquiries accurately
• Demonstrated organizational skills to coordinate seating arrangements efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
