Olivia 91 Restaurant & Lounge is looking for a friendly, outgoing, dependable hostess who enjoys working with people and understands how important a great first impression is.

The hostess is often the first person our guests see when they enter the restaurant, so we are looking for someone who is welcoming, pleasant, professional, well groomed, and has a warm smile and positive personality.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet every guest in a friendly and welcoming manner as soon as they enter the restaurant
• Seat guests at their assigned tables
• Make sure each table has been assigned to a server
• Assist with getting guests water and silverware when needed
• Pay attention to guests who have just been seated and make sure they are acknowledged and taken care of
• Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
• Take reservation requests and help verify and confirm existing reservations
• Assist with keeping the reservation list organized
• Prepare and roll silverware during slower periods
• Keep the entrance, hostess stand, and front area clean, organized, and presentable
• Assist with other light front of house duties as needed

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, attentive, dependable, and comfortable talking with people. You should have a great attitude, pleasant appearance, good communication skills, and understand that customer service begins the moment someone walks through the door.

Restaurant experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person with the right personality and work ethic.

Position: Part Time with the possibility of Full Time

Starting Pay: $13 to $15 per hour
