Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating preferences to optimize flow and comfort.
• Using systems such as Aloha POS.
• Maintain accurate restaurant table management.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, assist with reservation inquiries, and provide information about the restaurant
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest service
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests promptly and courteously
• Support food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness in the host station and adhering to hygiene protocols

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
• Experience with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and table management
• Knowledge of food service operations, including familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs simultaneously
• Ability to maintain professionalism through effective phone communication and etiquette
• Understanding of hospitality principles and guest relations best practices
• Commitment to food safety standards and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
