Restaurant Host/Hostess

Hole In The Wall is seeking a friendly, welcoming, and dependable Restaurant Host/Hostess to help create a positive experience for guests from the moment they arrive. This role focuses on greeting guests, managing seating flow, assisting with reservations and wait times, and communicating with the restaurant team to support smooth front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Manage guest arrivals, seating, and table assignments efficiently.
• Assist with reservations, waitlists, and estimated wait times.
• Communicate seating information clearly with servers and restaurant staff.
• Answer general questions about the restaurant, menu, and dining experience.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus when appropriate.
• Monitor the dining room and help maintain an organized and welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist guests with routine requests and direct concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Keep the host stand, menus, and guest-facing areas clean and organized.
• Help coordinate guest flow during busy service periods.
• Support opening, closing, and other front-of-house duties as assigned.
• Follow restaurant service, safety, sanitation, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous host, restaurant, hospitality, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful.
• Friendly, courteous, and professional communication style.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Comfortable interacting with guests in a busy restaurant environment.
• Able to manage multiple guest requests while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and service standards.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
