Restaurant Host/Hostess

Job Summary

We are looking for a smart, energetic, enthusiastic, and well-presented Restaurant Hostess to manage guest coordination and support smooth restaurant operations, especially for group bookings from schools, colleges, institutions, corporates, and other organizations.

The Hostess will coordinate with the concerned groups in advance, schedule their arrival and meal timings, and ensure that the restaurant is properly prepared to provide prompt, organized, and pleasant service to all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with schools, colleges, institutions, corporates, tour groups, and other organizations regarding restaurant visits and meal arrangements.
• Confirm and schedule breakfast, lunch, dinner, refreshments, and other meal timings in coordination with the group organizers.
• Maintain proper communication with the group coordinator before and during their visit.
• Ensure the restaurant team is informed in advance about guest numbers, arrival time, meal requirements, and special arrangements.
• Coordinate with the Kitchen, Service, Billing, Housekeeping, and other concerned departments to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure that tables, seating arrangements, food counters, and other required facilities are ready before the guests arrive.
• Monitor guest arrival and ensure that there is no unnecessary delay in seating or food service.
• Welcome and assist guests in a polite, professional, and friendly manner.
• Coordinate the movement of large groups efficiently to avoid crowding and service delays.
• Monitor the overall guest experience and immediately communicate any issues to the concerned supervisor.
• Handle guest queries and coordinate with the restaurant team for quick resolution.
• Maintain proper records of group bookings, schedules, guest numbers, and meal arrangements.
• Follow up with group coordinators regarding changes in timing, guest count, or special requirements.
• Ensure proper coordination during peak hours and high-volume group bookings.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the standards of the restaurant.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel will be an advantage.
• Previous experience in Restaurant, Hotel, Hospitality, Guest Relations, Front Office, or F&B Operations will be preferred.
• Candidates with good communication skills and a positive attitude may also be considered.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
