Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a pleasant dining experience by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the restaurant staff. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and a passion for the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests promptly while ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Assist in cleaning and bussing tables efficiently to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Support servers by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant, including dining rooms, restrooms, and kitchen spaces.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accuracy of orders.
• Handle food safely and adhere to health regulations regarding food handling.
• Assist with catering events as required, providing excellent customer service throughout.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in cleaning and bussing within a restaurant or hotel setting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• A passion for customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
