Restaurant Host/Hostess

Position Summary

The Hostess is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations and waitlists, and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. This role sets the tone for the guest experience by providing a warm, organized, and professional welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and positive attitude
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus
• Communicate clearly with servers and management regarding seating flow
• Answer phone calls and handle inquiries professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
• Assist with light administrative tasks as needed

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred (not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
