Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive customer service to foster a positive first impression
• Manage restaurant reservations using advanced table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate booking and seating arrangements
• Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort and satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the menu, reservation policies, and wait times while practicing excellent phone etiquette
• Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests, keeping them informed throughout their visit
• Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a memorable dining experience
• Support food service staff by managing guest flow and assisting with basic organizational tasks as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in a customer-facing food service role is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone conversations confidently and politely
• Knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests simultaneously
• Basic math skills for handling seating calculations and managing waitlists accurately
• Familiarity with food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional guest services with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Previous experience in restaurant environments or guest services roles will be considered a plus
• Preferred Restaurant experience mature, over 25 years of age. Busy front end able to multitask work weekends a must

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
