We are looking for a well-groomed, confident and warm Restaurant Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests and create a welcoming, polished experience from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and warmly greet every guest entering SOMARA.
• Create a premium and personalised first impression.
• Manage the reception/hostess desk and guest arrival experience.
• Handle reservations, walk-ins and guest enquiries professionally.
• Maintain and manage the reservation and seating plan.
• Escort guests to their tables and ensure smooth seating.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and service team regarding table availability and guest requirements.
• Manage waiting guests and provide accurate estimated waiting times.
• Give priority attention to VIPs, regular guests and special occasions.
• Maintain guest information, reservations and special requests accurately.
• Coordinate table allocation to maintain smooth service flow and optimum table utilisation.
• Handle guest requests, queries and basic complaints courteously and escalate issues when required.
• Coordinate with the service team for birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations and other special occasions.
• Maintain complete knowledge of the restaurant, menu, operating hours, events, offers and special experiences.
• Assist in managing guest lists for special events and high-demand evenings.
• Maintain a clean, organised and visually presentable hostess/reception area.
• Ensure professional communication with guests at all times.
• Support the management team in maintaining SOMARA's overall guest experience standards.

Candidate Profile

• 1–4 years of experience as a Restaurant Hostess / Guest Relations Executive / Front Office Executive / Guest Experience Executive.
• Experience in premium restaurants, luxury hotels, restro-bars, clubs or high-end hospitality establishments preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant, confident and naturally hospitable personality.
• Strong guest-handling skills.
• Good English communication; Hindi fluency preferred.
• Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous during busy hours.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant reservation/POS systems preferred.
