Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, taking reservations and addressing guest inquiries effectively
• Maintain accurate records of reservations, waitlists, and guest preferences using restaurant table management systems.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and organization in the host station area
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen team to ensure seamless service flow during busy hours

Experience

• 2 year experience as a host/hostess or in food service is required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems
• Strong communication skills, including phone communication and guest interaction, are essential for success in this role
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, wait times, and guest counts accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations enhances your ability to provide excellent guest services
• Experience in customer service roles within hospitality environments will help you excel in creating positive guest relations

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
