Restaurant Host/Hostess

Duties

• Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing a positive first impression of the establishment
• Handle cashier duties accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing payments swiftly and securely
• Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information or taking reservations as needed
• Assist with guest services by addressing inquiries, managing special requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
• Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness in all cashier and host/hostess areas to promote a safe dining environment

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
• Basic math skills for handling cash, credit card transactions, and balancing registers accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
