Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations using toast seat guests efficiently to minimize wait times
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems for processing transactions smoothly
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, to enhance the guest experience through upselling techniques
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety protocols
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff with food handling and basic food preparation when needed
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, process sales transactions efficiently, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to foster a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and sales management
• Strong knowledge of service in presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and anticipate their needs
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks simultaneously in a lively environment
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience with reservation systems , culinary experience is advantageous for understanding menu offerings
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Experience in cashiering, bussing tables, or supporting kitchen operations enhances overall performance in this role

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
