We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and energetic Kitchen Helper to join our team at a well-loved Northeastern Indian restaurant located in the vibrant downtown Sunnyvale area.

Pay

Hourly Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Full-Time Opportunity Available for the right candidate.

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Willingness to assist with food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties
• Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical kitchen tasks
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• A genuine interest in working as part of a professional restaurant team

Key Responsibilities

• Assist cooks with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks
• Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Help with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Assist with keeping the kitchen stocked and ready for service
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Perform other general kitchen duties as needed
