RESTAURANT MANAGER – SUSHI RESTAURANT

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy sushi restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent service standards, efficient restaurant operations, food quality, and a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth service delivery.
• Lead, supervise and motivate front-of-house and kitchen staff.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, hygiene, and adherence to food safety standards.
• Manage stock levels, ordering, wastage, cash handling, and daily operational controls.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally while maintaining high service standards.
• Monitor sales performance and implement initiatives to improve revenue and profitability.
• Prepare staff schedules, manage attendance, and ensure adequate staffing during peak periods.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in restaurant management, preferably within a premium, sushi or Japanese restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, stock control, and cost management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales and manage operational costs.
