Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

Bondi Sushi is seeking an experienced, organized, and guest-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and support high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality. The ideal candidate is a strong team leader who can manage busy service periods, support staff performance, handle guest concerns professionally, and help maintain efficient restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and service activities
• Lead, train, and support restaurant team members
• Ensure guests receive friendly, professional, and efficient service
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards
• Coordinate staff activities during busy service periods
• Assist with staff scheduling, shift assignments, and staffing needs
• Handle guest questions, requests, and concerns professionally
• Monitor dining, service, and work areas for cleanliness and organization
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures are followed
• Monitor inventory, food supplies, beverages, and restaurant materials
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing supplies
• Monitor POS, payment, and cash-handling procedures
• Help control waste and maintain efficient restaurant operations
• Communicate operational issues and important updates to management
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Support company policies, procedures, and service standards
• Perform other management duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
• Ability to manage a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Ability to train, motivate, and support team members
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and inventory procedures
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
• Reliable, responsible, and professional work ethic
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Skills

• Restaurant manager or assistant manager experience
• Experience leading front-of-house and back-of-house teams
• Strong guest service and conflict-resolution skills
• Staff scheduling and shift-management experience
• Inventory and supply management experience
• Knowledge of sushi or Japanese cuisine is a plus
• Familiarity with sushi restaurant operations is a plus
• Ability to maintain service quality during busy periods
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Positive, team-oriented leadership style

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
