Restaurant Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a proactive, experienced, and passionate hospitality professional to join our team and support the smooth operation of our busy restaurants.

Available Positions

We currently have opportunities at two of our branches:

• Bexley Branch: Restaurant Manager
• Sidcup Branch: Experienced Supervisor / Assistant Restaurant Manager

Contracted hours are flexible and will be agreed mutually, depending on the needs of the business and the successful candidate's availability.

Pay will be discussed and agreed based on contracted hours and relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and, where required, act as the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Supervise, motivate, and support front-of-house and kitchen teams, creating a positive and productive working environment.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared, presented, and served efficiently and on time.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist with staff rotas, training, onboarding, and performance management.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Support the introduction of new menu items, promotions, and operational initiatives.
• Lead by example and help maintain consistently high standards of service and hospitality.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous supervisory or management experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong team-management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead by example.
• Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and general hospitality operations.
• Good knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
• Culinary experience or a background in kitchen operations is highly desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• A strong customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
