Restaurant Manager

GTK is growing and we are looking for a restaurant manager with a passion for great service, hospitality and organization.

Who we are?

GTK is a cutting edge next-generation restaurant. We offer multiple food concepts all out of a traditional retail space. All of our food is made from scratch, sustainably packed and optimized for travel.

What we are looking for:

An awesome, hard working, positive, and passionate individual who can learn every aspect of the current operation. This person would be responsible for leading all FOH operations and ensuring quality, and customer-service standards.

5+ years experience in hospitality required with at least 2 years managerial experience. Experience in both BOH and FOH preferred. Bar/Bar Management experience would be a plus.

Familiarity with Toast would be helpful.

College degree not required. Sense of humor is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring each shift is properly staffed, organized, and prepared for service
• Maintain a visible management presence on the floor and actively support the team during busy periods
• Set clear expectations for hospitality, professionalism, urgency, cleanliness, and teamwork
• Manage, coach, and hold front-of-house employees and shift leaders accountable
• Create staff schedules based on projected sales, events, and labor targets
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, timekeeping, break compliance, and overtime
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary documentation
• Ensure opening, closing, side-work, cash-handling, and shift-change procedures are consistently completed
• Oversee bar execution, beverage inventory, ordering, recipe consistency, and loss prevention
• Monitor food and beverage quality, ticket times, presentation, and order accuracy
• Review guest feedback, respond promptly to complaints, and resolve service issues with the goal of retaining the guest
• Coordinate with the kitchen leadership team to maintain effective communication between front and back of house
• Manage the operational execution of private events, large parties, catering pickups, and off-site events
• Maintain an accurate events calendar and ensure staffing, menus, room setup, equipment, and client details are confirmed in advance
• Identify problems early, communicate them clearly, and follow through until they are resolved
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, appearance, and functionality of the dining room, bar, private rooms, bathrooms, storage areas, and exterior
• Coordinate routine maintenance and vendor service while escalating major repairs appropriately
• Ensure compliance with food-safety, alcohol-service, workplace-safety, and employment requirements

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Assistant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
• Extensive food and service knowledge
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and pivot
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Willingness to lead from the front

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
