What they need

Position Title: Restaurant Manager

Brand / Venue: Tasca Sabio Spanish Tapas

Location: 80 Surawong Road, Bang Rak, Bangkok, Thailand

Reports To: Directors

Brand Overview

Tasca Sabio brings the authentic, spirited charm of a traditional Spanish tasca to Bangkok’s Surawong district. Tasca Sabio serves vibrant tapas, rich paellas, cured meats, and curated Spanish wines in a lively, dining space. We blend unpretentious Spanish hospitality, casual conversations, and great food to deliver unforgettable experiences for our cosmopolitan local and international guests.

Role Summary

As the Restaurant Manager for Tasca Sabio, you are the chief driver of floor atmosphere, guest delight, financial health, and team culture. You will hold ultimate accountability for daily operations, service quality, menu execution, staff leadership, and profitability.

We are looking for an ambitious, charismatic, and operationally ruthless hospitality leader who leads from the front, commands respect on the floor, and inspires a tight-knit service team to hit exceptional operational and financial metrics every shift.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational & Floor Leadership

●       Own the Floor: Maintain a strong, charismatic presence during peak service hours—leading service pacing, greeting key regulars, and ensuring guests experience authentic Spanish warmth and efficiency.

●       Excellence in Execution: Oversee the meticulous execution of service standards, cleanliness, lighting, music playlists, floor layout, and FOH/BOH sync.

●       Guest Experience & Recovery: Act as the primary ambassador for guest relations. Handle guest feedback with tact, diplomacy, and swift resolutions to build a loyal local and hotel guest following.

2. People Management & Development

●       Team Building & Culture: Recruit, onboard, and retain a top-tier Front-of-House team (Assistant Managers, Captains, Service Crew, Hosts, Bartenders).

●       Training & Knowledge Retention: Enforce rigorous training programs covering Spanish cuisine, tapas culture, wine pairings, cocktails, POS execution, and service mechanics.

●       Performance Accountability: Conduct regular performance reviews, offer structured coaching, enforce company discipline pipelines, and groom dynamic junior staff for internal promotion.

3. Financial Performance & Administration

●       P&L Responsibility: Partner with executive leadership to achieve revenue targets, labor cost targets, and beverage/operating expense budgets.

●       Roster & Labor Optimization: Build efficient, balanced weekly work schedules aligned with hotel occupancy, seasonal dining peaks, and labor regulations.

●       Inventory & Cost Management: Oversee monthly beverage and supply audits, manage breakage and waste controls, and supervise vendor relationships for FOH supplies.

●       Reporting & Compliance: Ensure smooth nightly end-of-day closing procedures, cash reconciliation, revenue audits, and strict compliance with local health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

●       Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of senior supervisory or restaurant management experience, premium casual dining, or upscale Spanish/European tapas venues, or lifestyle hotel F&B outlets.

●       Leadership Style: Authoritative, high-energy, hands-on, and accessible. You command respect through work ethic and deep operational expertise.

●       Business Acumen: Sound understanding of P&L management, labor cost calculations, inventory controls, and modern restaurant POS/reservation platforms (e.g., SevenRooms, Chope).

●       Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai

●       Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including split shifts, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.

What We Offer

●       Competitive base salary package with performance-based bonuses and service charge sharing.

●       Duty meals and outlet perks/discounts.

●       Clear career progression within a rapidly growing lifestyle hospitality group.

●       An empowering work culture where operational creativity and entrepreneurial drive are rewarded.
