Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

Saltie Girl is seeking an experienced, organized, and guest-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and support a high-performing hospitality team. The ideal candidate will lead staff, maintain service standards, coordinate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, monitor inventory and sales, and help create an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Lead, train, schedule, and support restaurant team members
• Maintain high standards of hospitality, food quality, service, cleanliness, and professionalism
• Monitor guest service and respond to requests or concerns promptly and professionally
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams during service
• Prepare and manage staff schedules based on business needs
• Train new team members on restaurant procedures, service standards, and workplace policies
• Monitor POS transactions, cash handling, daily sales, and closing procedures
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of food, beverages, and restaurant supplies
• Monitor product quality, freshness, presentation, and proper storage
• Help control labor, food, and operating costs
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented dining and service areas
• Assist with special events, busy service periods, and other restaurant activities
• Communicate operational needs and issues to ownership or senior management
• Support opening and closing procedures
• Perform additional management duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience required
• Full-service restaurant experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Excellent guest-service and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, scheduling, and restaurant operations
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Ability to train, motivate, and develop restaurant team members
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality
• Reliable, professional, and dependable work ethic
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to remain calm and effective during busy service periods

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week

Work Location: In person
