Restaurant Manager

State Street Provisions is seeking an experienced and dependable Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and support the team in providing excellent guest service. This role involves coordinating staff, maintaining food and service standards, assisting customers, monitoring supplies, and helping ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations throughout each shift. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable leading a team in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and guest-service activities
• Coordinate staff assignments and workflow throughout each shift
• Support and guide front-of-house and kitchen team members
• Monitor food quality, order accuracy, and customer-service standards
• Assist with employee training, onboarding, and coaching
• Handle guest questions, requests, and routine service concerns professionally
• Monitor food, beverage, packaging, and restaurant supply levels
• Assist with ordering, receiving, organizing, and restocking supplies
• Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and service areas
• Help maintain efficient order and guest flow during busy service periods
• Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists
• Communicate staffing, supply, and operational needs to management
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company procedures

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience
• Previous supervisory, shift-lead, or restaurant management experience is preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Good attention to food quality, cleanliness, and service details
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory procedures, and restaurant operations is helpful
• Able to train, support, and work effectively with a restaurant team
• Professional and respectful approach to guests and coworkers
