Our client is an established, independently owned hospitality business in the heart of Warwick, combining quality accommodation, a popular restaurant and bar, and dedicated function and event facilities. The restaurant has built a strong reputation for quality dining, premium local produce and genuine country hospitality, with a menu focused on quality beef, seafood, lamb and house specialities. The venue also caters for weddings, corporate events, private functions and conferences, providing an exciting platform for further growth.

The Role  

As Restaurant Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant while working closely with the owners and leadership team to grow revenue, improve guest experiences and strengthen the venue's position within the Warwick market. A key focus of the role will be business development, identifying new opportunities across corporate dining, functions, weddings, celebrations and local partnerships. You will lead the front of house team, maintain exceptional service standards, manage operational performance and build strong relationships with existing and new customers.

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to a commercially minded hospitality professional who enjoys being involved in the business and wants the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

Your Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience managing a restaurant, bar, hotel or quality hospitality venue
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a high-performing hospitality team and have strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
• Demonstrated commercial awareness and a track record of driving revenue and profitability with experience developing new business, particularly functions, events, corporate and group bookings
• Strong understanding of rostering, labour costs, stock control and operational budgets
• Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills
• Ability to identify new business opportunities and turn them into revenue
• A hands-on, energetic and solutions-focused management style
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Current RSA; RMLV or Approved Manager qualification highly regarded
