Duties

• Supervise all aspects of restaurant operations including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management to ensure smooth daily functioning
• Lead, train, and develop staff members in food handling, customer service, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food management and profitability
• Oversee cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and preparing financial reports for profit and loss analysis
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety management, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures
• Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours in casual dining or quick service environments
• Implement training & development programs to enhance team leadership skills, culinary techniques, and customer service excellence

Experience

• Proven experience managing a restaurant or food service operation with a strong background in food industry standards
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training, interviewing potential employees, and performance evaluations
• Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
• Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food production processes
• Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, cost control measures, and profit & loss analysis in a hospitality setting
• Experience working in casual dining or fine dining environments; catering or banquet experience is a plus
• Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to lead hospitality teams effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
