Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands on manager to run a large restaurant and motivate the team to a high standard of customer service, creating a warm and welcoming environment for staff and customers, while ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently, safely and profitably. This will be a full time job between 40-45 hours a week and will include every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing of the restaurant
• Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of servers, bartenders, and support staff
• Oversee food preparation to maintain quality standards and consistency
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures at all times
• Coordinate food production, bar service, and kitchen activities to optimize efficiency
• Train staff on service protocols, food presentation, safety practices, and hospitality standards
• Manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies; place orders as needed
• Foster a welcoming environment by providing excellent customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant space in accordance with health codes
• Support bar operations by overseeing bartending activities and ensuring responsible alcohol service

Qualifications

• Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with strong team management skills
• Extensive restaurant experience and barista skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on motivating teams and driving performance
• Experience in large restaurant operations is highly desirable
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices including guest relations and service excellence
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with staff and guests
