About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to join AD Empire Holdings Sdn Bhd in Penang. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to lead our restaurant operations and ensure exceptional service delivery to our guests. As Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of hospitality, managing day-to-day operations, and creating a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery during all shifts
• Manage and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and hygiene regulations, and company policies
• Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
• Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally, implementing appropriate resolutions
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and supplier relationships to optimise operational efficiency
• Maintain financial records, including cash handling, till reconciliation, and revenue reporting
• Conduct staff briefings and training sessions to enhance service quality and product knowledge
• Collaborate with management to develop promotional strategies and improve restaurant performance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment for staff and guests

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-5 years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards and hospitality best practices
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to remain calm under pressure
• Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Knowledge of local food and beverage trends in the Penang market is advantageous
• Certification in food safety or hospitality management is preferred
