Good Neighbour Rototuna is on the lookout for an experienced, motivated and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team!

Located in the heart of Rototuna, Good Neighbour is a busy and vibrant local favourite, offering a welcoming bar and restaurant, private function spaces, regular events and weekly quiz nights. No two days are the same, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and loves bringing people together.

What you’ll be doing:

* Leading, motivating and developing our front-of-house team.

* Overseeing the day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.

* Delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.

* Managing day to day staff and wage costs.

* Maintaining high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and compliance.

* Working closely with the kitchen and management team to keep the whole venue running like a well-oiled machine.

* Helping drive sales, grow our local following and deliver successful events and functions.

* Creating a positive team culture where people enjoy coming to work.

What we’re looking for:

* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team.

* Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

* A solid understanding of wage control and cost management.

* A hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example.

* A passion for great food, drinks and outstanding customer service.

* Someone who stays cool under pressure, brings positive energy and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

* A genuine love for hospitality and creating a great atmosphere for our locals.

* Experience across all aspects of Hospitality including Bar, FOH and functions
