About the role

Royal Cliff Beach Hotel Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our hospitality team in Chon Buri. This is a full-time position based on-site at our establishment. As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal to the success of our dining operations and plays a key part in enhancing the overall guest experience at our hotel.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and resource allocation
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Managing and supervising restaurant staff, including training, performance management, and staff development
• Ensuring exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
• Managing inventory, food costs, and ordering to maintain profitability whilst minimising waste
• Implementing and maintaining restaurant policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery and menu execution
• Handling cash management, billing, and reconciliation of financial records
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere and building strong relationships with regular guests
• Monitoring industry trends and suggesting menu or service improvements to enhance competitiveness

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar senior hospitality role within a hotel or upscale dining establishment
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health and safety regulations, and hospitality best practices
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and discretion
• Proficiency in restaurant management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
• Strong numeracy skills and experience with financial management, budgeting, and cost control
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards under pressure
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
