Job Summary

Porch Kitchen & Bar is seeking a Restaurant Menu Coordinator to support menu planning, menu updates, item descriptions, pricing coordination, and communication between kitchen, service, and management teams. This role helps ensure menu information is accurate, current, and consistent across restaurant materials and ordering systems while supporting seasonal updates, new menu items, and a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate menu updates, revisions, and seasonal menu changes.
• Work with kitchen staff and management to collect accurate menu item information.
• Maintain current descriptions of dishes, ingredients, portion details, and available options.
• Coordinate menu pricing updates with restaurant management.
• Review menu materials for spelling, formatting, consistency, and accuracy.
• Update menu information across printed menus, digital menus, and ordering systems as applicable.
• Communicate menu changes to kitchen, service, and front-of-house teams.
• Help coordinate the introduction of new dishes, specials, and seasonal offerings.
• Verify ingredient and allergen information with appropriate kitchen personnel.
• Maintain organized menu records, recipes, item descriptions, and revision histories.
• Coordinate with design, printing, or marketing vendors when menu materials require updates.
• Gather feedback from staff and guests regarding menu clarity and item presentation.
• Support inventory and availability communication when menu items change.
• Follow company procedures for menu accuracy, food safety communication, and customer service.
• Perform additional menu coordination and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, menu administration, food service, or administrative experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheets, and digital content updates.
• Ability to coordinate information from multiple teams and meet deadlines.
• Strong proofreading and problem-solving skills.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating restaurant menus or food service documentation.
• Familiarity with POS systems, digital menus, or restaurant management software.
• Knowledge of menu formatting, food descriptions, and pricing updates.
