Job Summary

Proof On Main is hiring a Restaurant Operations Assistant to support daily restaurant operations and help maintain efficient service across front-of-house and back-of-house teams. This role supports staff coordination, guest service, inventory activities, service preparation, and administrative tasks to help the restaurant run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations and service activities
• Assist management with coordinating front-of-house and kitchen teams
• Help prepare dining and service areas before and during operating periods
• Assist with staff scheduling, task assignments, and workflow coordination
• Support inventory tracking, stocking, and supply organization
• Monitor service areas for cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness
• Assist guests with routine questions and service requests
• Communicate guest concerns and operational issues to management
• Help maintain accurate operational records and documentation
• Support opening, closing, and restaurant preparation procedures
• Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company procedures
• Perform additional operational and administrative duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, or operations experience is an asset but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities
• Basic computer and recordkeeping skills
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
• Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask effectively

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting restaurant or hospitality operations
• Familiarity with restaurant POS, scheduling, or inventory systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good time management and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work effectively with diverse restaurant teams

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
