Restaurant Operations Assistant

Job Summary
Railcar Modern American Kitchen is seeking a dependable Restaurant Operations Assistant to support daily restaurant operations, assist management and service teams, and help maintain efficient guest service. This position is well suited for someone with strong organization, communication, and restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with daily restaurant operations.
• Support front-of-house and back-of-house teams during service.
• Help coordinate staff assignments and shift coverage.
• Monitor guest service, cleanliness, and restaurant standards.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and supply organization.
• Help train and support new team members.
• Address routine guest questions and service concerns.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational records and complete assigned administrative tasks.
• Help ensure company policies and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
