SOHO American Bistro

Restaurant Operations Manager
We’re looking for a hands-on Restaurant Operations Manager to help lead a growing, community-driven restaurant group made up of four full-service concepts and one ice cream shop:

Bar{n}: Booze & Bites – neighborhood cocktail bar and gathering place

Morty’s Meat & Supply – smoked meats and craveable comfort food

Message in a Bottle – coastal seafood and cocktails

{S}table: Comfort Food n Cocktails – updated Southern comfort food

Good Vibes Ice Cream Shop & Soda Pop – ice cream, treats, and family fun

This role is for a leader who loves restaurants, understands great hospitality, and knows how to build strong teams. You’ll work across our concepts to improve daily operations, develop managers and employees, maintain service standards, and help each restaurant perform at its best.
What we’re looking for:

2+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in casual to casual-fine dining

A genuine customer-service heart and passion for hospitality

Proven ability to train, coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable

Strong understanding of restaurant operations and service standards

Ability to work effectively with multiple concepts and management teams

Beverage, cocktail, wine, and bar knowledge is a strong plus

A hands-on leadership style — willing to coach on the floor, solve problems, and lead by example

We aren’t a collection of cookie-cutter restaurants. Each concept has its own personality, but they share the same goal: creating places where people want to eat, drink, celebrate, and come back again.
We’re part of the heart of our community. We are Funwoody.
What Makes This Opportunity Different
This isn’t a typical restaurant management job. It’s an opportunity to become part of a growing independent restaurant group, develop leaders, and make an impact across five distinct concepts.
Our Operations Manager works with teams ranging from cocktail-driven nightlife and coastal seafood to smoked meats, Southern comfort food, and a neighborhood ice cream shop. That variety creates an opportunity to build a much broader skill set than managing the same four walls every day.
What we offer:

Multi-concept leadership experience – Work across five unique hospitality concepts, each with its own menu, service style, and personality.

Manager and team development – Play a meaningful role in training, coaching, motivating, and developing the next generation of our leaders.

A voice in operations – We want leaders who see opportunities, solve problems, and help us continuously improve—not managers who simply follow a corporate playbook.

Exposure to strong food and beverage programs – Develop experience across restaurants, cocktails, wine, beer, seafood, smoked meats, and high-volume hospitality.

Independent restaurant culture – We aren't a national chain. Decisions are made locally, ideas can become reality, and great people can make a visible difference.

Community connection – Our restaurants aren't just places to eat and drink. They're gathering places for the community, and we take that role seriously.

Opportunity to grow with the group – This position offers experience beyond traditional single-unit management and the opportunity to expand your leadership responsibilities as our organization evolves.

We believe hospitality starts with taking care of people—our guests, our teams, and our community.
We’re not just restaurants in Dunwoody. We’re part of what makes Dunwoody fun. We are Funwoody.
