Restaurant Operations Manager

Theo's Cozy Corner Restaurant is seeking a dependable and organized Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and support the team in providing efficient, consistent, and welcoming service. This role involves coordinating staff, monitoring workflow, maintaining food and service standards, supporting inventory and supplies, and helping ensure smooth operations throughout each shift. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills and is comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and guest-service activities.
• Coordinate staff assignments, schedules, and workflow throughout each shift.
• Support and guide front-of-house and kitchen team members.
• Monitor food quality, order accuracy, cleanliness, and service standards.
• Assist with employee training, onboarding, and ongoing coaching.
• Handle routine guest questions, requests, and service concerns professionally.
• Monitor restaurant inventory, food supplies, beverages, packaging, and service materials.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, organizing, and restocking supplies.
• Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining, kitchen, and service areas.
• Help maintain efficient guest and order flow during busy service periods.
• Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists.
• Communicate staffing, supply, and operational needs to ownership or senior management.
• Help identify routine operational issues and support practical solutions.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, café, hospitality, or food-service operations experience.
• Previous supervisory, shift-lead, or restaurant management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable taking responsibility.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to food quality, cleanliness, and operational details.
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory procedures, scheduling, and restaurant operations.
• Able to train, support, and work effectively with a restaurant team.
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving abilities.
