Restaurant Operations Manager

State Street Provisions is seeking an experienced and organized Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and support the team in delivering efficient, high-quality guest service. This role involves coordinating staff, monitoring service standards, managing inventory, supporting employee development, and improving operational workflows. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and front-of-house service activities.
• Coordinate staff schedules, shift assignments, and daily workflow.
• Support and guide servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and other restaurant team members.
• Monitor food quality, order accuracy, service efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with employee onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Address guest questions, complaints, and service concerns professionally.
• Monitor food, beverage, and operating supply inventory.
• Coordinate ordering, receiving, storage, and restocking of supplies.
• Support POS operations and established cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and service areas.
• Review daily operational needs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and operational checklists.
• Communicate staffing, inventory, and service needs to restaurant leadership.
• Help maintain compliance with food-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with management to support restaurant goals and consistent service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food-service, or restaurant operations experience.
• Previous supervisory, shift-lead, or management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and resolve operational issues.
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
• Strong attention to food quality, cleanliness, and service standards.
• Ability to train, support, and motivate team members.
• Professional and respectful approach to guests and coworkers.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
