Khaar Restaurant is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and energetic Runner / Busser to join our team in the heart of vibrant downtown Sunnyvale.

Pay

Hourly Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Full-Time Opportunity Available for the right candidate.

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant, food service, runner, or busser experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and presentation
• Ability to safely and efficiently carry food and dishes between the kitchen and dining area
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and handle physical restaurant tasks
• Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods
• A genuine interest in providing excellent hospitality and being part of a professional restaurant team

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct tables quickly and accurately
• Ensure dishes are presented neatly and reach guests promptly
• Assist servers with food running, table maintenance, and guest needs
• Clear used plates, glasses, and utensils from tables
• Reset and prepare tables for incoming guests
• Keep dining areas, service stations, and restaurant spaces clean and organized
• Restock plates, silverware, napkins, condiments, and other service supplies
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant during service
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, hosts, and management
• Support the team during busy lunch and dinner service
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures
• Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed
