Responsibilities

• Support servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting tables to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Assist with food running duties, delivering orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently while maintaining food safety standards
• Handle cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and service areas
• Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes of supplies, or equipment using safe lifting practices
• Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic kitchen duties to ensure timely service delivery
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing orders and payments accurately
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure seamless service and address any special requests or concerns

Requirements

• Previous food service experience is preferred; familiarity with restaurant operations enhances performance
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and carrying trays or supplies
• Experience with food handling, food safety protocols, and basic food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; willingness to learn new technologies
• Experience in banquet settings or hotel hospitality environments is advantageous
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
