Restaurant Server Assistant

About the Position

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and hospitality-minded Tea Assistant to support our team in delivering an exceptional afternoon tea experience. This role is responsible for assisting with tea preparation and service, maintaining an organized service area, and ensuring guests receive warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve tea according to established standards.
• Assist servers with afternoon tea setup and service.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked tea stations.
• Ensure tea pots, cups, accessories, and service items are properly prepared.
• Provide guests with basic knowledge about tea selections and service.
• Monitor tea supplies and communicate restocking needs.
• Assist with resetting tables and maintaining service areas.
• Support servers and management during busy periods.
• Maintain a polished, professional, and welcoming presence.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, and assigned side work.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused personality.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Interest in tea and afternoon tea service is a plus.
• Willingness to learn tea varieties, preparation methods, and service standards.

Schedule: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: $14 per hour + tips
Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
