Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including table setup, clearing, and sanitation of workstations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues efficiently
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, accommodating special needs, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
• Experience with food industry operations including serving, cashiering, and food preparation is advantageous
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
