Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Able to serve alcohol legally
• Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary requests or allergies.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally in a fine dining or casual setting.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of hospitality principles.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure guest satisfaction
• Experience in food industry settings such as fine dining, nightclub environments, or casual restaurants is preferred.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices essential for maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Experience preferred

Able to speak Japanese, Korean , Chinese or Thai a plus
