Restaurant Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that each guest has a memorable dining experience. Your ability to upsell menu items and assist customers with their needs will contribute significantly to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
• Take food and drink orders accurately
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from guests.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or sushi is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and calculating bills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help colleagues as needed in both front-of-house and kitchen operations.

Pay is 12.14 plus tips
